'Solus Sovereign' is one of India's most extensive strength and fitness communities
They have witnessed a remarkable growth in event attendance and merchandise demand in the last year. However, the absence of an official platform has limited their exposure, hindering event discussions, schedules, and merchandise releases. Their manual ticketing process, coupled with the lack of a centralized hub, has become time-consuming and challenging to manage at events and merchandise sales.
To create a solution to streamline Solus Sovereign's ticketing process, automate registrations, and serve as an official space for event discussions and merchandise releases/sales.
With the rising demand, there is a pressing need for a dedicated platform to streamline the ticketing process, automate registrations, and serve as an official space for event discussions and merchandise releases, which seeks to enhance exposure, community engagement, and operational efficiency, ensuring a smoother experience for both organisers and participants.
I created parts of this project with the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools to aid with the design process as it freed up time spent on mundane & repetitive tasks and helped me focus on applying critical thinking onkey themes throughout the whole process.
Otter.ai
To conduct interviews and capture data
ResearchAI
To analyze and find insights in interview data
ChatGPT
To conduct basic research and create starting points like problem statements/ how might we questions and key lines of inquiry
Khroma
To create color palettes
Miro AI
To create platform scenarios and connections
Attention Insight
To conduct user testing and create user heat maps
To gain further clarity on the problem statement and key lines of enquiry I used ChatGPT to create 4 how might me statements that would highlight the key areas to focus on while building the solution.

What specific challenges do participants face with the current manual ticketing process during 'Solus Sovereign' events?
What are the primary motivations for community members to engage in event discussions, and what features would encourage more active participation?
What is the current market reach of 'Solus Sovereign' events and merchandise in comparison to other fitness communities or events in India?
What features would incentivise users to prefer the dedicated platform over alternative channels for event-related information and merchandise purchases?
How often do community members seek information on event schedules and merchandise releases, and what channels do they currently use for such inquiries?
I conducted research on the focus area to gather insights and questions to validate with the target audience during primary research. Afterwards I went in-depth with the findings and insights collected and tried to draw conclusions, make connections and come up with a problem statement to identify need gaps for further ideation.
Once I narrowed down a design, I began creating mock ups and sketching out basic wireframes along with establishing the information architecture for the website. After that I finalised a list of key scenarios that the website would solve and began prototyping.
Once I created my prototype I started user testing to get feedback to implement to the design and created a final deliverable.
Solus soverign wanted to use 'shopify' to process the customer payments and manage their inventory for event tickets and merchandise, so i had to enable customers to access their store through the website that was built on 'webflow' by integrating the 'shopify buy button' into the website.
Quantitative research gathered from primary research with the founder of Solus Sovereign.
For my research I conducted interviews with key stakeholders to gain insights into problems and pain points throughout the user journey, these interviews were conducted on 'Otter.ai' which helped me capture and organise key stakeholder insights and organise them into clear and concise points and used 'ResearchAI' to connect these key points to create meaningful connections to further ideate on .

The average time spent during the manual ticketing process at every solus sovereign event, which includes, verification, payments and entry.
For solus are done through 'instagram' with the solus team having to interact with each customer in real time to process every order which is time consuming as there are often delays with responses, finalising payments, customer details/ shipment addresses & size/stock inventory management.
If Solus Sovereign are to sell event tickets on third party ticketing websites, which would massively eat into their revenue
There is no professional space for businesses and sponsors to reach out to solus sovereign for consultations and collaboration enquiries other than instagram which isn't always the preferred mode of contact for some
The average attendance at every solus sovereign event which is only steadily growing
A lack of payment processing options at events and on 'instagram' leads to difficulty with accounting and taxation
The difference in expected revenue vs actual revenue at solus sovereign events due to inefficiencies with the manual ticketing system which sometimes fails to track participants that have and haven't paid which leads to revenue loss
After thoroughly diving into the insights from the research with solus sovereign, I used chatGPT to narrow down a list of user needs that would most likely address the gaps in solus's experiences.

Buy & sell event tickets and merchandise that is not with a third party provider that would charge high transaction and processing fees .
A way to market and showcase solus sovereign's mission and services offered to businesses and sponsors looking to collaborate.
Exclusive access to everything solus related, from upcoming event schedules, merchandise and product related information to regular community updates and more.
I created high-fidelity mock-ups and designed 3 key scenarios on 'MiroAI' that the platform would fulfil to showcase what the platform should do and how the users could complete tasks there.

After creating the mock-ups, I decided to have a carefully set style guide that would enhance the user's experience based on curated research on the field and then used 'Khroma' to create the colour palette.

Red is considered to be the most desirable colour for learning.
Colour psychology shows that this colour provokes the strongest emotions of any color.
Certain hues of red can signify power and dominance which are factors in powerlifting.
Black conveys self-control, self-discipline, and even protection. Indeed, the color black can evoke feelings of safety and covering.
Certain hues of black used as an accent color, black provides a sense of order which is a important in fitness.
Certian hues of white tend to have calming effects and increased focus which is really important in fitness and powerlifting in order to have a mind-muscle connection which is key.
I designed, prototyped and created the whole platform on 'Webflow' and conducted initial user testing on 'Attention Insight' to understand where users would focus their attention and where the experience could be be enhance by generating AI heat maps as well which gave me brief steps I could take to make the experience more user friendly.

As mentioned above solus sovereign was facing issues selling tickets through third party ticketing platform as the transaction fees on these platform can be as high as 12% per transaction which wasn't very desirable to solus. Therefore to tackle this solus planned to use 'shopify' to sell their tickets and merchandise but still wanted their main platform to be on 'webflow' as it provided more creative flexibility compared to 'shopify's themes'.
To achieve this I decided to use shopify to host solus's store and connect that store to webflow which the main platform is on through the 'shopify buy button'. To do this I exported the shopify buy button code to webflow to ensure the users could have an uninterrupted experience.
I used chatGPT to convert the 'shopify buy button code' which is written in 'JSON' to 'CSS' that is used on webflow, this enabled the flexibility of webflow and the low transaction fees on shopify to be used to solus's advantage.
